Microsoft is trying very hard to fight in tablet segment. This commercial emphasize on multi-tasking which Windows happen to be good at (with high performance machine only!).

iPad 4 Teardown

Okay, there is no official iPad 4. Because it is only new new iPad. Back in March this year, there was new iPad, therefore this is a new new iPad. Or iPad 2012b?

Anyway, here are some geek stuffs first:

• Dual-core A6X processor with quad-core GPU
• 9.7 inch LCD, backlit in-plane switching LED with 2048×1536 pixel Retina display
• 16, 32, or 64 GB flash memory
• 5 MP rear-facing camera
• Lightning connector

iPad Mini Teardown

First there was Mini the car, then Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini and now iPad Mini. What's wrong with all these people? :P

Anyway, iPad Mini is the 7" tablet market that Apple cannot lose out. Steve Jobs was the guy that created the miracle of creating his own market, but since he is gone, Apple is going to the wrong direction again. And this time Steve is gone forever and never come back to rules again.

Okay, whatever, here is some geek stuffs of iPad Mini:

• 7.9" 1024 x 768 pixel (163 ppi) multi-touch display
• Dual-core A5 processor
• 5 megapixel rear-facing and 1.2 megapixel front-facing cameras
• Bluetooth 4.0
• Lightning connector
• 16, 32, or 64 GB capacity

How Much Is Your new iPad?

Everyone knows that new iPads are selling at $499, $599, and $699 for Wi-Fi only, and $629, $729, and $829 for Wi-Fi+4G version, for 16GB, 32GB and 64GB respectively at US. It is speculated in Malaysia the price of new iPad will be same like iPad2 before reduce price, therefore RM 1499, RM 1799, RM 2099 for Wi-Fi only, and RM 1899, RM 2199, and RM 2499 for Wi-Fi+4G version.

However do you know how much it cost to manufacture your new iPad? Is your money worth it to buy the 64GB version?

Btw, I am just going to call the new iPad as iPad 2012 since it is not officially called iPad3.

Here is the breakdown cost of iPad 2012 from IHS iSuppli:


From the table above, Apple (and the telcos/distributors) are earning 58% from cheapest iPad 2012 (16GB Wi-Fi only) to 102% from most expensive iPad 2012 (64GB Wi-Fi+4G). Wow!
No wonder Apple's stock price is keep on claiming up, even with various issues on their product (antennate-gate) and now heat-gate (over heating issue on iPad 2012).

I think not only I should not buy iPad 2012, I should also buy some Apple's share. :-)

iUser for iPad - multi users login - jailbreak require

Note this: jailbreak require to enable this apps or feature. If you don't want to do jailbreak, go buy another iPad. :P

Okay, back to this iUser.

Apple created iPad for individual only and not for family, so what if you want to share the iPad but don't want to have each user interfere others user setting such as safari bookmark, twitter account, facebook login, etc? The quick way is to buy another iPad, but this could break the bank account for some of the family. 90/10 rules says that 90% of the wealth in this world control/own by 10% of people in this world. You see what I mean? :)

With this iUser, you can have multi users login, just like Windows! Who said Windows sucks? :P

Die faster with iPad and iPhone

International Air Transport Association (IATA) posted a statement of using iPad, iPhone and other portable electronics devices on flight has could cause more death due to interference with electronics flight system. This mean that you have higher chances of crashing the plane if you use iPad or iPhone or smartphone or other portable electronics devices while on the plane.

3D for iPad!

okay, this is not the convention 3D that we usually see by tricking our brain to believe that the picture is 3D. This might be the future for 3D, in this method, your device need to have camera. So that the apps will track your face and change the images based on your face location, so that you see some sort of 3D effect on the device. See the demo after the jump:

Apple and Flash

Apple blame Macromedia, then Macromedia blame Apple. And it keep on continue. Sorry iPhone/iPad users, Steve just too stubborn to amid that he has problem. You have to see no animation of when you surf the internet while Windows users laughing at you. That's why Steve sue HTC, coz he dunno what he want to do next. Hahah. Anyway, people start to making fun of Apple not supporting flash.

With the introduction of iPad, we would think iPhone should be retire. However iPhone should be rename to keep it alive. Let's name it iPad Nano. The advantage of iPad Nano is it can put into your pocket and it can make phone call! So what is the advantage of iPad then?

Bang! Apple new product always have very big impact. iPad also have its impact. But do you know the truth about iPad??????

The fact:
Honestly iPad not as portable as iPhone, functionality lack of Netbook and Laptop. Anyway, all these still can't beat the portability and functionality of Vibrator. HAHAHA.
