With Google Plus open up to public, meaning everyone can register with Google Plus. If you still not on Google Plus, you no longer need someone in Google Plus to invite you. Just go to the Google Plus link and click to register.

Here is a song to help you to understand what Google Plus can do, although the song is not nice at all, IMHO. :P
